Periodically combine a mixture of half white distilled vinegar and half water and fill the tank (you do not need to fill it entirely), close the drain cap, power the unit "ON" and spray the solution through the system to flush it clean.

The Original RinseKit (along with the RinseKit Lux) has been discountinued for more than 3 years and we no longer have any spare parts for it. If you have an Original and it is no longer working, feel free to contact us and we will be happy to assist you.

No. All of our models arrive to our warehouse pre-assembled, meaning that we are unable to offer replacement tanks as we do not have any available. If your unit is losing pressure, and it was purchased less than 1 year ago, please fill out our warranty form here.
Note: Leaks are typically caused by over-pressurization of the tank. We recommend filling your RinseKit Plus or Pod with 55-65 PSI of pressure. If you do not know the water pressure of your house or spigot, the city can typically provide a reading for free, or you can buy a pressure gauge from most hardware stores.

Yes you can, all RinseKit models are BPA free and can be filled up with fresh drinking water for pets and people. It can also be filled with other liquids like soap or cleaning solutions. If you choose to fill your RinseKit with a liquid other than water, we do not recommend drinking from the RinseKit after. If you use your RinseKit as a cleaning or sanitation device and want to fill it with a cleaning solution, please follow the guidelines from the CDC before you do so. While filing a warranty claim, you may notice we ask a lot of questions, that’s because we document every claim for future reference. All submitted warranties are used to help us understand the workmanship of our products and allow us to provide our manufacturers more insight on things we may not see in our warehouse inspections.   

We understand that a receipt can't always be kept, however warranties are time sensitive, as they depend on the date and store you purchased your RinseKit. An order number or screenshot of a receipt will be enough to act as proof of purchase.

Refurbished units are units that have been returned to our warehouse for any reason. All units are thoroughly inspected by our warehouse team and are fixed to like-new condition. Yes, all Refurbished units are covered by our 1 Year Limited Warranty. These units are only able to be warrantied for any functionality issues that may occur, including leaking and not powering on. Blemishes, scratches, divets, glue coming undone, and other flaws of this nature are all considered cosmetic issues and are not covered under warranty.

All of our battery powered units use an AGM 12v 5Ah battery. It should arrive fully charged and will likely last 3-6 months before needing to be recharged. Normal battery range for our models is 13v to 11v indicated by the voltmeter. 10.8v or lower means you need to charge the battery and voltage below 10.5 v can cause damage to the battery.
• Each unit comes with two charging cables: one for the wall and one for the car. The wall charger will light up RED when charging and flash RED and GREEN when fully charged
• The car charger will light up RED when charging and will continue to light up RED as long as it is connected to your car.
• The units will still charge, even if in use. Periodically charge the battery to keep voltage above 10.8v
Note:
• The car charger will only charge to 12v
• When charging, make sure that the two charging tabs align with the "lock point" arrows on the charging port

All units should arrive to you fully charged and ready to use right out of the box. Depending on use, you should get 3-6 month’s use with one full battery charge.
Need to recharge? It’s easy, plug in the wall or car charger and the unit should be fully charged in approximately 4 hours.

The Rack Shower will come with the necessary hardware for mounting, however, you may need to have access to a crescent wrench (not included) for tightening down the lock nuts. For a step by step video tutorial, click here.

There are 3 ways to get hot water for the Rack Shower:

1. Pour hot water directly into the tank. You can get hot water from your home or heat it over a campfire.
2. Leave the unit in the sun and it will gradually heat the water inside.
3. Connect the Rack Shower to our HyperHeater accessory to get hot water up to 110°F in less than 30 seconds. This is the fastest and most efficient way to get hot water anywhere.

The Rack Shower is equipped with an SAE plug that allows you to connect it directly to your vehicle’s power so you never have to worry about charging the battery.

In direct sunlight, you may notice your Rack Shower expanding in the heat. This is completely normal and will not interfere with the integrity of the unit. To get the unit back to its original shape, release the pressure inside by unscrewing the drain cap and the tank will return to its original shape.

This is completely normal. Inside of the Rack Shower is a water tube with a brass piece at the end of it, essentially weighing down that tube so it can get all of the water out of your RinseKit.

No. The stainless steel Adapter Brackets allow you to mount the Rack Shower to any extrusion channel. It comes with T-bolts designed for attaching to the Toyota Bed Rail system.

The control panel consists of the power button, LED display, dual USB ports and 12V charging port. The blue LED numbers indicate the temperature of the water inside the unit while the outer ring indicates battery life. For optimal use only charge the unit when it has entered the red zone.
Note: The water temperature indicator shows the temperature of the water actively in the unit, it is not a water heater.

The Rack Shower comes with a completely detachable 7 foot long hose. To remove the hose, firmly pull on the quick connect that attaches the hose to the unit to release it. The hose can be coiled up and stored in your vehicle until you are ready to use it. To re-attach, simply push the quick connect end into the unit. Give it a slight tug to ensure the hose is fastened securely. Note: Never drive with the hose still attached to the RinseKit. This could be dangerous to yourself and those around you.

The Rack Shower is not insulated, however, the black HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) external material will absorb heat from sunlight, causing the water inside to gradually heat.
CAUTION: Always read the temperature of the water before use to avoid scalding.

The Rack Shower is built tough and is able to withstand the elements, so you can feel confident leaving it on your vehicle during most weather conditions. However, if you are in freezing (32°F or colder) temperatures, we recommend removing the Rack Shower from your vehicle and draining all of the water in the unit before storing it. Freezing the Rack Shower can cause damage to the pump and internal components.

You do not need to remove the Rack Shower from your vehicle in order to charge it. The Rack Shower’s included 12v power cord is 8 feet long and if needed, you can purchase a separate 12v power cord extender to adapt to your vehicle's length. Otherwise, if you don’t want to worry about charging, you can have power constantly flowing to your Rack Shower by plugging it into the SAE plug located at the bottom of the Rack Shower.

The only accessories that are compatible with the Rack Shower are the Touchless Auto Nozzle and HyperHeater Hot Water Heater.

The RinseKit Cube, is our 4-gallon portable shower empowers you to clean up wherever adventure takes you. Equipped with battery-powered pressurization, the Cube boasts a consistent high-pressure spray that can blast off the toughest dirt and grime. It’s also super easy to use - simply pour in water, press the power button and spray. It’s also built tough with military-grade materials, and is equipped with stainless steel tie-downs for when the road gets rough. It’s the strongest, most durable, and intuitive portable shower on the market - made for keeping you clean no matter how far out you go.

No, the Cube does not have a built-in heating element. The blue LED lights on the control panel read the current temperature of the water in the unit and the colored outer ring indicates remaining battery life. At this time, the only heating accessory we have compatible with the Cube is the HyperHeater.

The IP65 control panel is water resistant. We recommend keeping the dual USB and 12v ports covered while the unit is in use. Do not spray water on the control panel when the unit is charging.

The 3.5 gallon PRO is our first battery-pressurized model, boasting a consistent, high pressure spray that lasts for up to 7.5 minutes (center setting). The battery pressurization is not only strong, but makes the PRO easy to use - simply pour water in the top fill cap, press the power button and spray. The PRO is perfect for avid surfers, campers, bikers and outdoor enthusiasts who want more capacity plus the consistency, strength and convenience of battery-powered pressurization.

All RinseKit PRO models have an intentional drainage hole located in the back of the bucket to prevent any excess water that may slip through the cracks of the bucket and tank from reaching the battery pack. If you notice a flowing stream of water coming out of the drainage hole, please fill out our warranty form here.

Your charger will stay in the charging ports "Lock Points" snugly to hold the charger in place, so it does not slip out. With a firm pull, the charger will release. Do not tug on the charging cable cord itself.

The PRO is compatible with our Spray Nozzle (included), Touchless Auto Nozzle System, HyperHeater and PRO Immersion Heater.

We recommend bringing the PRO indoors when possible. You can leave the PRO outside as long as the temperature is above 32° Fahrenheit. Freezing the PRO can cause damage to the internal water pump. For prolonged or cold storage, drain all of the water out and allow the pump to run dry for 30 seconds to remove any remaining water out of the system.

The Immersion Heater is our electric water heater compatible with the RinseKit PRO. The stainless steel rod screws into your PRO, and is powered by a trailer hitch power cord. It can heat the water in your RinseKit up to 110°F! It boasts an LED top display panel to display any warning signs, as well as a safety shut off function so that it doesn’t overheat. When combined with the PRO, the Immersion heater allows you to take a hot shower anywhere, without the use of propane or any other fuels.

The PRO Immersion heater plugs into your vehicles trailer hitch and will run off of your cars’ battery. For best results, we recommend initially filling your unit with warm water and then inserting the heater, the higher the starting temperature the quicker the water will heat up!

Warning: The heater will heat as long as it is connected to a power source. Unplug the 12v or trailer hitch plug from your vehicle when your engine is off. Your car battery will drain if the plug stays connected.

Using electricity to heat water takes a lot more time and power than you'd think! Here are some of our hot tips and best practices to get the most out of your Immersion Heater:

Start Warm- Fill the RinseKit with warm water to start; the higher the starting temp, the quicker it will heat up. When not in use, store the RinseKit in your car to prevent heat from escaping.
Mix It Up- While heating, mix up the water in the RinseKit to even out the temperature.
No Trailer Hitch? No Problem.– Alternatively, the included 12v cord can be used to heat up the water in your RinseKit. Keep in mind that the 12v draw is significantly less than the trailer hitch and it will take longer for the water to heat.

One version of the Immersion Heater has a trailer hitch power cord that is compatible with 2015 or newer Ford vehicles and one is NOT, due to the internal wiring of older Ford vehicles. Please read thoroughly and ensure you are purchasing the correct version that will work with your vehicle.

The trailer hitch pulls 266 WATTS and 20 AMPS.

No. The internal structure of the Cube and Rack Shower does not allow the PRO Immersion Heater to fit into the top opening. Additionally, the threading for the Immersion Heater is not compatible with the Cube or Rack Shower.

The threaded sleeve diameter of the Immersion Heater will only fit with the opening of the PRO and limited edition PRO PAK. All previous RinseKit models have a smaller diameter opening that the Immersion Heater is NOT compatible with.

Yes. Anything that gets hot can potentially be dangerous. Here are our warnings:

• Water temperature over 125 degrees Fahrenheit can cause severe burns instantly
• Feel water before rinsing or showering
• Children and elderly are at highest risk of being scalded
• Do not leave the PRO Immersion Heater unattended while connected to power

The HyperHeater is a tankless water heater powered by propane gas. Once connected to any of the battery powered RinseKits, water transfers to the HyperHeater and is instantly heated and dispensed through the included shower nozzle.

The HyperHeater offers the convenience of a hot shower easily by using propane gas to heat the water from any of our battery powered units.
Note: Propane is NOT included and must be purchased separately.

1) Carefully insert propane into gas regulator.
2) Attach gas regulator to back of the heater.
3) Connect power cord into RinseKit 12v outlet. Note: You can also plug into vehicle 12v outlets
4) Connect power cord into power inlet.
5) Remove nozzle from your RinseKit and connect to the back of the heater. Make sure the valve is in the ON position.
6) Connect included heater shower hose to the back of the heater. Make sure the valve is in the ON position
7) Press power button on RinseKit
8) Press ON/OFF button on heater
9) Use switch on shower nozzle to turn water ON or OFF
10) Use the gas valve to turn the heat up or down. There will be a slight delay as the heater heats up the water.

HD5 “consumer grade” propane is compatible with the HyperHeater. Click here for one we recommend.

No. Propane gas is NOT included with the HyperHeater. Propane must be purchased separately.  

A singular 1lb propane tank will last approximately 30 minutes with continuous use.

The shower head that comes included with the HyperHeater has 2 spray settings, center, and shower. The spray times stated have been determined by setting up the shower head nozzle attached to the HyperHeater, attaching the shower head directly to your RinseKit will give you different spray times. See below for spray times per setting:

3.5 gallon PRO:
Shower = 5:00 mins
Center = 7:30 mins

4 gallon Cube:
Shower = 7:00 mins
Center = 9:30 mins

5 gallon Rack Shower:

The HyperHeater will heat water in about 30 seconds. To control the temperature of the water coming out of the heater, simply adjust the Gas Valve knob located at the top of the unit. For optimal shower temperature, we recommend starting with the gas valve in the center, between LOW and HIGH. Adjust the temperature as needed. 

Yes, however, you will need to have access to a propane adapter converter hose. These can be found at your local hardware store or by following the link for one we recommend, here.  

No. The HyperHeater comes with its own shower head nozzle, designed to flow, well, like a shower. The inconsistent on and off spray of the spray nozzle may cause the RinseKit and HyperHeater to overheat.

Note: Overheating and/or damage caused by using the incorrect nozzle with your HyperHeater will void your warranty. 

The Auto-Nozzle is a touchless portable faucet equipped with motion-detection technology that is compatible with all of our battery powered RinseKits. When connected to the RinseKit via the quick connect adapter on the hose, the Auto-Nozzle dispenses water at the wave of a hand. It can also be mounted on any surface with the suction cup mount, enabling you to set up a touchless hand washing station at the campsite, in the parking lot, or wherever else life takes you.

The Auto Nozzle has a motion sensor located on the front of the device. To trigger the sensor, wave your hands within 4 inches of the nozzle and water will dispense. Make sure that the RinseKit logo is always positioned at the top of the nozzle, as the sensor and USB charging port are not waterproof.

The Auto Nozzle’s lithium battery should last approximately 6 months per full charge depending on frequency of use. Each unit comes with a USB charging cable that can easily be plugged into any USB charging port.  

Yes. The Auto Nozzle is water resistant, but it is not completely waterproof. You should not submerge the Auto Nozzle and try to keep it dry. Make sure that the RinseKit logo is always positioned at the top of the nozzle, as the sensor and USB charging port are not waterproof.  

The Auto Nozzle has one setting, the flow of the "spray" is comparable to that of a standard kitchen faucet.

To turn on the Auto Nozzle, first simply turn your RinseKit on and then make sure the on/off valve is in the ON position. To turn off the Auto Nozzle, just turn the RinseKit off and make sure the on/off valve is in the OFF position.

The Auto Nozzle will not continue to leak as long as the RinseKit is powered off and the on/off valve is in the OFF position.   

The RinseKit Sport is essentially the water bottle version of a RinseKit, with an innovative cap that is equipped with spraying and misting functions. The hand pump on the top pressurizes the water in the bottle, which allows it to  dispense out of either the spray or mist holes in the cap with astounding pressure. The spray function can shoot water up to four feet, and is perfect for handwashing, spraying off dog paws, or even washing dishes on the go. The mist feature provides a refreshing spritz so you can stay cool anywhere.

The Sport lid is compatible with Hydro Flask (32 oz lid or larger capacity) Wide Mouth bottles and comparable bottles with a 2.26” diameter opening.  

Yes! The Sport is BPA free, and the bottle itself is made of stainless steel

The Sport's shower setting will give you about 3:00 minutes of continuous spray time as long as you are constantly pumping pressure into the bottle. The mist setting sprays for approximately 8:00 minutes.

The Sport is not dishwasher safe. To maintain the integrity of the insulation layer in your bottle and to avoid damaging the lid’s internal parts, we do not recommend putting the Sport in the dishwasher. Additionally, the Sport is not microwave safe. However, the Sport is insulated and will keep liquids hot or cold for hours

We recommend using soap and water to keep your Sport clean. Be sure to wash the bottle and internal pump before you use it for the first time.

If you have used the Sport with any liquid other than water, we recommend cleaning the Sport with white vinegar and water.
To clean the Sport’s internal lid parts, fill the bottle with about ¼ cup of white vinegar, use the pump to add pressure, and then alternate pressing the spray and mist buttons to run the vinegar through the sprayers. Once the vinegar has run through, rinse the bottle, add in an additional ¼ cup of clean water, use the pump to add pressure, and alternate pressing the spray and mist buttons to run the clean water through the sprayers. Now your Sport is clean and ready to go!

Yes! Enjoy ice cold soda, your favorite sports drink or even a beer if you’re feeling the heat on hot summer days! Avoid liquids with small particles such as tea leaves, coffee grounds or protein powder as they may cause the sprayers to get clogged.

No. Leaving the Sport in freezing conditions below 32 degrees Fahrenheit could damage the lid’s internal parts.  

No. However, you may need to continue to pump in more pressure into the bottle as the liquid inside depletes.  

When the Sport is not in use, we recommend releasing the pressure inside by opening the lid. Leaving the unit pressurized and putting it into a backpack or purse may cause the bottle to slowly release its pressure and may result in leaks.

Our Shelter shower tent is a deluxe two room pop up tent designed specifically with RinseKit in mind. Equipped with 13 storage pockets, a towel rack, nozzle mount, mesh drainage and a privacy separator, the Shelter allows you to shower in privacy with all the convenient features of showering at home. Use the second room dry room as a bathroom or changing room for ultimate versatility.

The outside of the tent is made from waterproof nylon. However, inside the tent, one side has a mesh and heavy duty tarp bottom meant for showering, as the water will drain out from the mesh as you shower. The other side has a fully enclosed heavy duty, waterproof tarp bottom that can be used as a changing room, to store a camp toilet or keep your belongings dry.
